The Story
I fell in love with Transformers toys more than 35 years ago. What started as a childhood fascination turned into a lifelong passion for collecting these incredible figures. Over the years, like many collectors, I found myself managing my growing collection through scattered spreadsheets, notes, and memory alone. It worked, but it wasn't great.
With a background in software development, I decided to build something better. BotCollector was born from the desire to move collectors away from clunky spreadsheets and into the cloud—providing secure, robust tools to catalog collections and discover new figures to hunt down.
A Passion Project
BotCollector is a labor of love. It's not backed by a big company or venture capital—it's built in spare time, fueled by enthusiasm and way too much coffee. This means it's ever-growing and ever-changing, with new features and improvements rolling out as they're ready.
